Osmos’ gameplay is reminiscent of a microorganism survival simulator. This works both ways though, if a player controlled person collides with the larger one your station loses some mass and volume and later gets completely absorbed. Exactly the same thing happens in gameplay – the big balls “eat” the small ones. The gameplay is similar to a fight for survival, where the strong absorbs the weak. The main principle of the game is the absorption of other, weaker representatives by one’s own body.
